Van Gogh Flowers

Flower arrangements are a critical aspect of any table setting.   They add drama, depth and beauty.  I’m always on the lookout for just the right mix.

During a recent visit to Santa Barbara’s farmers market, I came across these flowers and was delighted by their vibrant beauty.

The yellow and blue colors reminded me of van Gogh’s Wheat Field with Cypresses from 1889.  I named this post “Van Gogh Flowers” as a tribute to his genius.

Google him to see what I mean.
