Party Prep

I’m an organizer by nature.  Before any large party or gathering, I do several things to be properly prepared:

First, I review my menu plan and gather all of the serving platters and bowls that I’ll need.

Second, I place a sticky note in each platter or bowl describing what food item will be cooked or served in it.

Third, I decide what flowers and vases I’ll be using to decorate the table and the house.

I’m fortunate to have a small breakfast nook table that’s perfect for assembling everything in advance.

This process helps me stay organized and makes the cooking and serving process go smoothly.  I hope it helps you get organized for your next party!
